Stories of the Castle Grounds
What lurks around the castle grounds of Antrim Town after dark? A fire in 1922 turned that castle to ruins - in1970 it was demolished for good. Now, all that remains of its original grandeur is some old photographs, postcards and supposedly a resident ghost.
This illustration and animation was created after exploring a local tale passed down through my family via word of mouth - this story represents an intersection where legend and recorded history meet. It is rare that a story is entirely true, or entirely fiction.
